Our cottage is the ideal place for a friends group or a big family searching for pleasant and cheerful moments.
Our lodge is independent, located on the "Route des Vins" (the Wine Road), and near many touristic sites in central Alsace.

You will enjoy every moment spent wandering in the two nearby towns streets ;
Kientzheim, medieval place encircled by her XV century rempart; and Kaysersberg, "Route des Vins" jewel, elected French Favorite Town in 2017.

 

Our cottage offers vast rooms, and a terrace with direct access to the vineyard :

 

The surrounding land, fenced, will allow children to have fun outside the house.

After some great local aperitif….. (Pinot Gris and bretzels),



will come a time to discover the many wealths that make our dear Alsace.

Flammekueche, Choucroutes , Baeckeoffe, and Kougelhopfs take a great part of local gastronomy, among others specialities.
You will also find starred restaurants to please the most demanding gourmet (3 starred restaurants within 5 km around the cottage ).

The "Route des Vins" will allow you to visit many wine-growing towns and taste 7 grapes varieties that made Alsace famous :
Sylvaner, pinot blanc, muscat,pinot gris, riesling, gewurtztraminer, pinot noir and the renowned alsacian champaign : cremant.

In need of a mountain trip ?
You will be able to discover various landscapes and sport activities in the nearby Vosges massif.
The "Route des crêtes", 20km far from the Weinbaechle, is a hike you can't miss, with its awesome view on plants, lakes and even the far-away Alps.
"Marcaire" typical meal will await you in one of the many local farmhouse-inns.

Alsace is also well-known for its great cultural and architectural wealth.
Visits of the many museums and monuments will satisfy everyone's tastes.

Visiting Colmar would be a great starting point: as Bartholdi's home town, you will find the Unterlinden Museum, a little Venice and the Pfister House there.

Then you should go to Strasbourg the magnificent, capital and center of Europe... yet so near to the Weinbaechle.

There, the European parliament neighbours the "Petite France" historical district, the Cathedral and Kammerzelt House, strong alsacian gastronomical symbol.
For architecture lovers, the Neustadt district is a must...

Finally, for those lucky enough to visit us in december, young and old alike will wonder at the traditionnal Christmas markets .
